Nathan Lubeck co-founded Aqulytics, a cloud-based platform to help governments, businesses, NGOs and communities, track and protect freshwater resources with the use of big data analytics and participative monitoring technologies.

In July 2018, Aqulytics was accepted into the prestigious Techstars 2018 accelerator program, eventually scaling to three pilot programs in California (with The Nature Conservancy), Kenya, and Peru. The team also presented research at SIWI World Water Week in Stockholm (the largest conference in the world around sustainable water) and the Los Angeles Data Summit in 2018, and partnered with two major research universities.

David Mascarina worked with the Aqulytics team to design and prepare their presentation for the 2018 Techstars Sustainability Accelerator with The Nature Conservancy Demo Day. The team also presented research at SIWI World Water Week in Stockholm (the largest conference in the world around sustainable water) and the Los Angeles Data Summit in 2018, and partnered with two major research universities.
